Joys & Concerns from June 2005
This is where we recognize personal events in the lives of friends and members of Spindeltop Unitarian Church.
Alison Lempia celebrated her seventh birthday with a party at Rogers Park.
On Sunday, May 22 we welcomed Tom Harlan back to church. He is being careful but moving about amazingly well. His stay at HealthSouth was the shortest on record....one day! Tom 's ultra-light accident resulted in broken vertebrae that necessitated two surgeries.
Our loving thoughts go out to Lyle Gaulding, who was a victim of a home invasion on May 21. He had surgery for a broken jaw and other facial fractures. According to Lynn, all the robbers got was a DVD player.
TJ Geiger will be missed by all of us at Spindletop. If you would like to keep up with TJ’s activities, he has his own blog! http://paxnow.blogspot.com/
Donna Gunter is planning to move back to Beaumont in July. She is looking for an apartment or will consider a housesitting arrangement. Her phone number is 501-661-8316.
