This is where we recognize personal events in the lives of friends and members of Spindeltop Unitarian Church.
On September 5, one of our founding and most active members over the years, Art Vawter, will celebrate his 84th birthday. Art resides at the Port Arthur Community Retirement Home, 2141 Procter Street. he keeps up on what is going on at Spindletop and likes to receive visitors. We all wish him a Happy Birthday
Mike Hauk will be leaving Tuesday, Sept. 7, for training in Fort Hood, TX. He wil be sent to Iraq in January. Mike recently completed a four year army tour of duty and was attending Lamar University. We wish Mike a safe return, please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
