- “Living By Heart”
- Living by Heart is a devotional practice developed by Harry Scholefield (for 25 years minister of the First Unitarian Church of San Francisco) and made generally available by Dr. Laurel Hallman (minister, First Church Dallas) through a video and workbook. The Living by Heart practice teaches us to wait as a source of spiritual nourishment, to welcome life rather than push it away in fear, to notice sacred relationships all around us, to record words of wisdom and poetry that speak to us, to live with words until they are part of our own heart-wisdom, and to move from a center of strength.
