Board Meeting Minutes - 01/18/04

The Spindletop Unitarian Church board of directors met on January 1, 2004 at 9:00am.

the following board members were present:

Tom Capo (ex-officio)

The following board members were absent:

Ria Lihs

Mike Conn

Oscar Murphy

Jeff Pittman

After determining that a quorum was not present, the meeting was opened by Tom Harlan for the purpose of hearing committee reports.

The chalice lighting was conducted by Tom Capo.

The following committee reports were heard by the board:

The minister's report was received.

The treasurer's report was received.

The ministerial relations committee report was received.

The grounds committee report was received.

The following old business was discussed:

The call list was discussed.

The proposed church rental contract was presented to the board for review.

Upcoming elections and nominating committee membership was discussed.

The following item of new business was discussed:

Church rental by PAST on Mar. 13th.

No further new business presenting, the meeting was adjourned.
