board meeting minutes - 10/17/04

The Spindletop Unitarian Church board of directors met on October 17, 2004 at 9:00am.

The following board members were present:

Bob Mark

Corky Cullins

Sharon Colbert

Tom Harlan

Cathy Allen

Enrique DelCampo

Tom Capo (ex-officio)

The meeting was first called to order by Corky Cullins.

The chalice lighting ceremony was conducted by Rev. Tom Capo.

Previous minutes from August and September were read and approved.

The minister's report was received and discussed by the board.

A brief report was offered by the grounds committee concerning the need for personnell to take on lawn mowing tasks.

The following old business was discussed:

The result of the summary land appraisal was presented to the board and discussed at length.

Matters pretaining to formation and staffing of the long-range planning committee were discussed.

Matters pertaining to property sale feasibility were discussed.

Plans relating to the upcoming Haloween party were discussed and finalized.

Unpaid balance of PAST church rental was paid.

No further business presenting, the meeting was adjourned.
