Spindletop Unitarian Church board of director's meeting minutes for 03/20/05.
The Spindletop Unitarian Church board of directors met on March 20, 2005 at 9:00am.
The following board members were present:
Sharon Colbert
Kathy Allen
- J. Geiger
Corky Cullins
Tom Harlan
Bob Mark
Rev. Tom Capo (ex-officio)
The meeting was called to order by Corky Cullins.
The chalice lighting ceremony was conducted by Rev. Tom Capo.
Previous minutes for the month(s) of December, January and February were read and approved.
The minister's report was received and discussed at length by the board.
The treasurer's report was waived.
A report from the nominating committee was received and discussed.
Rev. Leonora Montgomery"s willingness to be canvassed by the church was discused, with Corky Cullins to perform canvass.
The feasibility report was discussed at length by the board, with the consensus that moving not feasible at this time.
The condition of the building and facilities and needed repairs was discussed at some length.
Matters pertaining to church administration and office work were discussed, and Lyle Gaulding's offer to work as volunteer office assistant was approved.
No further business presenting, the meeting was adjourned.
