DESCRIPTION:What does it mean to be a Unitarian Universalist? As we co
 me back\ntogether to start our church year\, I felt that I would share
  some of my\nbeliefs on the matter\, as well as some other UUs thought
 s on being a\nUnitarian Universalist.\n\nPlease come prepared to celeb
 rate the beginning of our church year. Each year\nwe join together to 
 share with one another about our many journeys over the summer.\nWe ha
 ve a special Water Communion-to celebrate our being apart and our comi
 ng\nback together---renewing our connection with one another. Each per
 son is\nencouraged to bring water from their travels over the summer (
 if you don't bring\nwater\, we will have water that you can use to sym
 bolize your many travels) to pour into\nour communal water as they sha
 re their meaningful experiences.
