Activities & Events
Welcome to the section of our site where we have information about events and activities that we host, participate in, or sponsor.
What Kind of Events Does This Congregation Host & Participate in?
We have many regional and national events that many of our members attend. These generally include events hosted by the Southwest Unitarian Universalist Conference and the Unitarian Universalist Association, which our congregation is a member of both. Also, we do various local events dealing with social action throughout the year. In 2004, this has included participating in the CROP Walk and sponsoring a family from CASA to provide a Christmas for.

One of our members is Chairman of PLAN and is working to get an assisted living housing complex for those who suffer from a mental illness set up in Orange, TX. They need letters of support, which you can find more information about where to mail it to and what should be included, here. They also have a needs survey to be printed and filled out, here. These can either be given to one of the Putnums at church or mailed to the address on the top for the survey, or for the letter, the provided address towards the bottom. With your help, we can finally have a great place to help those with mental illness in this area.
