Worship Services in November 2007
November 4 - Dr. Nicki Michalski - "The Gospel of Mary Magdalene" - A discussion of the Gnostic gospels focusing especially on why the Gospel of Mary Magdalene was rejected, going beyond the usual discussions of gender. (Nicki teaches Communication at Lamar University.) November 11 - Dr. Donna Birdwell - "Sacred Objects and Idols" - Where is the line between reverence for inspirational images/objects and idolatry? And what is an "idol" anyway? November 18 - Rev. Tom Capo - Our Annual Breadsharing Service This is our annual intergenerational Breadsharing service. Once a year, the Sunday before Thanksgiving, we share a spiritual meal with one another, a Bread Communion. Sharing bread is an ancient custom that grounds many faith communities around the world to each other and to something greater than themselves. We will share this annual ritual and explore its what is means for us as Unitarian Universalists.

Recreated a Section & Added an Online Radio Link
We had a section on the site devoted to Garden & Grounds, but now I have renamed it to a more aptly title of Building & Grounds.
New Member Writing & Request for More Writings
In prepration for Jack Lawrence's service on the November 28th, he sent some background information on the subject to better inform and to wet our appetites for the fourth service in his “Are We Losing Our Jeffersonian Liberties?” series. We have several other writings by other members on the site and you can have your works published onto this site as well.
